Details of Position:
Suwanee based technology company is seeking a qualified candidate for Sr. Sales/Account Representative to join our Sales Team. Candidate must have 1-3 years sales/account management experience. Duties include contributing to the overall sales process by discovering new sales prospects and identifying and capitalizing on high priority opportunities in an effort to expedite the sales cycle. There is also a strong emphasis on enhancing and maintaining existing client relations and retention. Responsibilities include calling on, building relationships and securing orders from both existing and potential clients. In addition, this team member will accurately update files and contact information in CRM. Ideal candidate should be results oriented, have a positive attitude, be reliable, and possess strong verbal and written communications skills and have prior business to business sales experience.
Primary Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Apply product knowledge and sales technique to achieve timely close rates with prospective clients
- Incorporate knowledge of multiple value added services related to core product offerings into client relations
- Effectively utilize resources and tools available to expedite the sales cycle
- Occasional travel to meet with prospective clients as well as existing clients and their staff
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows
- Conduct educational presentations/seminars to large groups
- Actively make and receive phone calls related to the sales process
- Contribute to the overall achievement of team goals
Position Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience
- Proven Sales Track record with verifiable results
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Public speaking skills
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
- Knowledge of Association Management industry a plus
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or related Customer Relationship Management software
- Webex Webinar knowledge a plus
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office
Travel:
- 10-20%
